National Nutrition Month

During the month of March – classrooms will compete to see how many minutes of physical activity they can do during the school day. Each week there will be a different exercise challenge connected to a section of the MyPlate.

Every classroom will get their own tracking poster – hang these outside your classroom door and color in a section every time your class does 30 seconds of the weekly exercise challenge.

At the end of the week the classroom with the MOST minutes of physical activity will win a Husky Sport tasting after lunch. Additionally – there will be classroom match-ups each week (posted outside the cafeteria), the winning class of each of these match-ups earns 10 PAWS for every student in class.
